Classic Yashica 124D

This just came into the shop the other day, this has a classic look to it.

Vintage Camera Shop "The Camera Hut"

Ok, we finally have a place to call our own and it is so nice to set up all the cameras. We found a place in Bally Pa just before Jakes Flea Market. It's four days a week and it's always busy rain or shine.

We moved in at the end of January and are still doing some remodeling to make everything perfect but so far the response has been wonderful, people are buying and dropping off cameras to buy.

A new thing we started is transferring 8mm and VHS to DVD.

Girl Scout Brownie Camera and flash

Some one came into the shop to trade this in, I have seen the Boy Scout Brownie cameras but never the Girl Scouts. This one was with the original box. The strap was broken but still had a neat look to it.
This one is going into the camera series for YouTube.

Polaroid 360 Land Camera

Here is one of the classics, Part of a Polaroid series of cameras starting with the model 100 and each one adding more features as the number went up. This 360 was closer to the top of the line camera for its day and is still popular.

Zeiss Ikon Frontar Ikonette

I just picked this up last night at the auction for $11. Did not even realize this was a Zeiss. I think with a little clean up and TLC this will look great on the shelf.

Produced through 1929 to 1931 this was the pocket camera of its time.

Film Cameras A forgotten Art

Just as the Model T replaced the horse and buggy and the rotary phone was exchanged for the cell phone at even a faster pace has our cell phones have replaced the digital cameras.

Kodak is soon to vanish and Polaroid cameras are Antiques.

As my profession I buy and sell used items and I have come across so many old cameras it has become a side business for me. Part of my day is spent on the computer researching all items I thought it would be helpful for other people to see some beautiful works of art.

Since my own collection has grown too large to keep it is also helpful to remember some of the unique cameras I have seen.

I hope you enjoy this page and comment on the ones you like and send pictures of your own cameras you have had fun with thorough out the years.

This is before Targets and Wallmarts, when we all shopped at Sears for Everything!@!!

Here is a special edition Polaroid in a cream color sells for $30 on ebay now
